FAQ
Our Story, From Pasture to Plate
Our work begins where the morning light meets open pasture—where cattle move slow and steady, grazing the way nature intended. Out here, time stretches, seasons guide us, and every decision is made with care. We raise our animals with respect, honoring the land that sustains them and the generations before us who taught us that real food has a story.
What Is Whole-Cow Ground Beef & Why We Choose It?
We believe great beef isn’t created in a factory. It’s shaped by fresh air, clean forage, and the patient practice of doing things the right way. That’s why we use meat from the whole cow, not just the leftover parts. It creates better taste, better nutrition, and better beef overall. This whole-cow approach is our quiet rebellion against waste, and our promise to deliver flavor and nourishment the way it was meant to be.
Why Grass-Fed, Grass- and Grain-Finished?
Our cattle live their days on grass, wide skies above them, and soil beneath them. Then, with intention, we finish them with a touch of grain—just enough to deepen the marbling and bring out a richness that feels like home cooking and heritage combined. It’s the balance between tradition and truth, nutrition and pleasure, pasture and plate.
Why 75/25 Lean Meat to Fat Ratio?
In every package you’ll find the ratio we stand behind: a blend rich enough to carry flavor, balanced enough to feed your body, and crafted to turn simple meals into something deeply satisfying. Because to us, fat isn’t something to fear—it’s where nourishment and taste live side by side.
This is beef done differently. Not rushed. Not industrial. But raised honestly, crafted deliberately, and shared with the belief that food should nourish more than your body—it should connect you to the land, to nature’s rhythms, and to the people who care for both.
Why Is There A Delay Between Ordering & Shipping?
In an effort to provide you with the freshest, most nutritional product possible, we only process and ship our beef when we have enough orders in whole cow increments.
We don't process then hold our beef frozen waiting for orders–we know exactly how many animals go to processing each time. This reduces wasted product, and maximizes freshness for YOU.
This is our story.
And we’re honored to share it with you.
